Lash Lift FAQ

 

  1. What is a lash lift?
    A lash lift is a procedure that uses flexible shaper pads on a person’s eyelids or under their eyes and a gentle keratin formula to enhance their natural lashes to look darker, fuller and curvier.
  2. Will the lash lift make my lashes look longer?
    The lash lift it will give the appearance of longer and more beautiful lashes from the lash line.
  3. My lashes are sparse, will lash lift make them fuller?
    The lash lift it will give the appearance of longer and more beautiful lashes from the lash line.
  4. Will the lash lift make my eyes appear larger?
    The lash lift will open your eyes to make them appear healthier, brighter, and more youthful.
  5. My lashes are barely noticeable, will the lash lift work for me?
    The tools and formulas are specifically made for lash lifts and usually works with all type of lashes.
  6. How long is the procedure?
    The lash lift procedure usually takes 45 minutes to an hour to complete. 
    If you wish to add-on any tinting treatments, the procedure can take up to 1.5/2 hours long.
  7. Will the lash lift damage my natural lashes?
    No, the lash lift will not damage your natural lashes. The formula is gentle and your lashes are applied to shapers and not rods for the lifts.
  8. How long does a lash lift usually last?
    A Lash Lift can last 6-8 weeks but can vary from person to person. 
    There is no need for any maintenance appointments in between but you will need to have the process repeated every 6-8 weeks to lift the new hair growth.
    There are some situations that may cause the lift to drop/weaken prematurely such as swimming, use off harsh products or heat.
    If you find that your lift does not last the full 2 months, you can repeat the treatment after a minimum of 4 weeks of having the initial treatment, but not before.
  9. What do I need to after my treatment?
    You’ll also need to refrain from rubbing or “sweeping” your lashes as much as possible. 
    Avoid excessive heat, water, hot tub, saunas for the next 24 hours. 
    You may find that there is no need for mascara anyway, but if you wish to make your lashes even fuller, a non-waterproof mascara is advised as the removal of waterproof mascaras can be harsh on the lashes and weaken the lift.
  10. Can I wear contact lenses to the procedure?
    We recommend that you do not wear contact lenses to your treatment, but if you do, we will ask you to remove them temporarily during the procedure as the eyes will be closed the entire time.
